Memories of a New Mexico Rancher

Author Carl Lane Johnson.

Carl L. Johnson is a rancher having lived and ranched predominantly in southeastern New Mexico for 85 years.

He has previously written “Way Before Daylight, Long After Dark“, a well-received book, that brings forth the ranching world and his own life experiences.

In “Memories” Carl writes about friends and events that he has known or heard about. These are experiences he wanted to record and give recognition to several indiviiduals. He writes as it really was, no ‘smoothing the edges’.

Carl has acknowledged that he was very fortunate in being able to live and work the life that he always wanted as a rancher.
